Our Story
When I was little, Dad was always making something and calling me over to taste it.
"Taylor, come try this."
That was my job. I didn't know anything about recipes or measurements. I just knew Dad wanted to know what I thought, and I was always happy to be his little taste tester.
A couple of years ago, Dad started working on something new: his Sweet Potato Cheesecake.
He would work all night, come home, and still spend hours in the kitchen trying to get it right. He tested the sweet potatoes, the cheesecake filling, the spices, the crust, and how everything came together.
If it wasn't right, he made another one.
And another one.
Until he had something he was proud to put in front of people.
And just like when I was little, Dad still wanted to know what I thought.
"Taylor, come taste this."
Then something happened.
People started tasting the cheesecake and talking about it. Some came back for another one. Others told their friends. And the dessert Dad had been working on at home started becoming something bigger.
That's how Taylor's Sweets began.
It didn't start with a bakery or some recipe that's been passed down for generations.
It started with Dad in the kitchen, a daughter who was always willing to taste what he made, and a Sweet Potato Cheesecake people couldn't stop talking about.
I'm Taylor. He's Dad. And this is Taylor's Sweets.
